Uniclean’s UV-C (short-wavelength ultraviolet radiation) system uses the latest pioneering technology, which has been developed to effectively remove odours and bacteria from any commercial kitchen environment. Our UV-C system emits UV-C lights at both 254nm and 185nm wavelengths.

These two light sources work simultaneously to oxidise any organic molecules which are the main source of the odour.

The two UV-C lights cause a direct breakdown in the molecular structure of complex odour molecules when exposed to the radiation of the 254nm light range, and oxidization of airborne cooking odours by the highly reactive ozone that’s generated at 185nm light range.
